EnergyEquipment.com collects information you provide through contact, quote, equipment-wanted, seller-submission and account forms. This may include your name, company, email, telephone number, equipment interests, technical requirements, submitted equipment information, documents and communications.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to requests, evaluate equipment opportunities, provide transaction communications, operate user accounts, improve the site, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations. Transactional messages are separate from optional marketing communications.

Marketing choices

Where an affirmative marketing checkbox is provided, the selection and submission date may be recorded. Marketing messages will provide an unsubscribe method. Creating an account or submitting a transactional request does not automatically require marketing consent.

Account preferences and equipment browsing

When you explicitly enable browsing history in your account, we retain up to 100 equipment-page views for up to 90 days. This uses your existing signed-in session, with no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Turning the choice off clears the history. Page views alone do not trigger email follow-ups. Removing a request from your account view hides it from you while the business record may be retained.

Service providers and counterparties

Information may be processed by hosting, email, analytics, security and other service providers. Information may also be shared with relevant transaction counterparties when needed to evaluate or complete an equipment opportunity. Confidential information should only be submitted through an approved secure process.

Retention and security

Records may be retained for business, legal, fraud-prevention and transaction-history purposes. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
