Same transformers, two options

The equipment is currently damaged. The repair option describes proposed work on these same assets; it is not additional ready-to-use inventory.

Existing damaged condition

2,600 kVA each · 5,200 kVA package total (2 units) nameplate. See the photographs and condition report for the recorded damage.

Acquire in the existing condition for parts or a buyer-managed repair. The nameplate is not a statement of current serviceability.

REPAIR OPTION · PROPOSED

Repair and return-to-service scope

Request a repair proposal targeting the existing nameplate and winding configuration. No change to voltage, frequency or kVA is assumed.

  1. Inspect and document damage; establish whether an economic repair is feasible.
  2. Agree repairs and replacement components from the inspection findings.
  3. Agree electrical, insulation and fluid tests, acceptance criteria and a documented release for service with the repair provider.

Schedule, price and warranty: to be quoted after inspection and scope agreement. No repair has been completed or warranted under this proposed option.

Package and individual selections refer to the same two serial-numbered assets. A repair request reserves no additional units and does not certify the damaged equipment for energization.

Technical review & next steps

Before energization: confirm the selected serial number, actual nameplate, fluid condition, inspection and testing scope. Repair-group units require repair and testing.

Equipment overview

Two 2,600 kVA units (5.2 MVA total) from the Eaton copper-wound FR3 padmounted transformer offering. Representative configuration: 34,500 V delta primary to 416Y/240 V secondary, three-phase, 60 Hz.

Repair group: one pinhole radiator leak and one X0 lug/nut leak; low fluid reported on both. The latest source does not map defect type to individual serials. Confirm selected-unit repair scope and test before energization.

The photographed sample plate shows five discrete primary tap settings: 36,220; 35,360; 34,500; 33,640; 32,780 V. Confirm the selected serial and actual plate before applying these representative values. These settings do not establish a continuous operating-voltage range.

Copper primary and secondary windings; FR3 natural ester fluid; representative KNAN cooling, 65°C rise and 5.81% impedance. Inspect actual accessories, fluid, grounding, protection and terminals. Nameplate totals do not establish grid availability or usable site power.

Approximate per-unit envelope 104.4 × 80.7 × 84.8 in; representative total weight 15,408 lb. Verify lifting points, transport dimensions, pad and clearances. Individual listings and package memberships refer to the same physical equipment. Request selected-unit records, inspection, test scope and a quotation.
